Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab found, passes through FCC

After learning that the Galaxy Tab would be hitting T-Mobile and most other carrier’s shelves on November 10th for $400, there is still one question that keeps us thinking; will there be a Wi-Fi only version? Users with a Wi-FI only version will only be able to access the internet when in an area where they can connect to Wi-Fi. A model of the Galaxy Tab called the GT-P1010 was recently leaked, and it appears it will be the Wi-Fi version that some of us have been waiting for.

The Wi-Fi only version shown above recently passed through the FCC. This is great for consumers who don’t want to pay monthly fees on top of their current phone bill. No word on when the Wi-Fi version will be out or how much it will cost compared to the ones that get service. We will keep you updated and let you know when more info comes out on pricing/release date. Stay tuned!
